Are you able to make a 28 inches long 3 strand cultured pearls with the aquamarine drop? I can only buy if they come together and find a way to grant a bigger discount as I would be rather tempted to buy all; pearls would have priority, followed by the single strand and ring. Thank you, Virginia

Virginia wrote on June 29,2014 about this piece
If you accept the length for the necklace I would like a matching bracelet again aprox 10 inches long. Could you do matching clips as well? Best, virginia 00447802510602

Karen, I could possibly agree the price if you go for a 26 to 28 inches. Pls mind I leave England until the 21st of July. I also need to diminish the huge UK taxes. Fortrave at 1st dibs found a carrier for this purpose. Best regards

My favorite necklace is the Millicent necklace. I love the mix of antique and contemporary materials. The contrasting colors of the beads and watch are very pleasing. The overall design is not too busy or garish. This is a timeless piece of jewelry.

Some years ago, I found your website, thanks to Joni's Cote de Texas blog. I instantly fell in love with your pieces and bought the Decadent Drusy Pendant (#2630)and the Par Excellence Peruvian Opal Necklace (#4801). You even made custom earrings out of the Peruvian opals to go with the second piece.

Both of these necklaces are absolute stunners. Whenever I wear one, people will come up, reach out, touch the stones, and in revered tones ask, "Where did you get this? It's amazing." And of course, I tell them Karen Sugarman is the gifted designer who creates these talisman-esque wonders.

The exquisite stones and settings you choose in your pieces set them apart from other stone/jewel creations. While you use a substantial number of stones, there is an ethereal quality to them that sets them apart from other designers' work. There is also an iridescent quality that comes from your mix of shimmery glass beads, pearls, stone and metal.

I love these two pieces so much that I just bought a third!

Hello Ms. Sugarman

I have just come from my dear friend Joni's blog.

Back in December I was captivated for three days as I watched the Christie's auction online. My cousin had gone to the pre show and sent me the catalog. Enraptured does not describe the fervor she and I felt for the Token Necklace. I even wrote a blog post about it:

http://decortoadore.blogspot.com/2012/01/charmed-im-sure.html

My daughter is a fashion design student so we both love and admire Edith Head. (I've written about her too on the blog.:) She is a favorite of the Fashionista who graduates with a Bachelor's in December. Wouldn't your necklace be THE gift?

There is no pricing on your website and that scares me a bit because I NEED that necklace. My husband will of course try to explain need versus want once again. :)

I am also sending my cousin over to your site because we have searched in vain for several months to find the ivory tokens.

Stay cool, I get to move this next week in this heat.

Hi Karen,

I don't know why but you crossed my mind today and I wondered how you were making out with your special designs. I went to your website and somehow I was brought to the page with the Mimi necklace. I don't know if when you were in contact with me regarding Tagliamonte a few years ago, if I had shared with you that in 2006 my 16 year old daughter, Maria Pearl passed away suddenly. Her nickname was Mimi. I asked her for a sign today and I believe that she brought me to the page with the tourmaline necklace in her name. She knows that in particular I am fond of watermelon tourmaline. anyways, I think I am meant to have this necklace. Any chance you can give a professional discount? Also if I were interested in a coordinating necklace with just the tourmaline beads, would that be possible? Maybe 20 inches long.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care,

Lori

Hi Karen! I keep up with what you're up to and this is a home run. I think those Chinese game counters are so special and beautiful and mysterious but you get the idea with these less expensive versions. I didn't realize you were an interior designer until very recently. And then to find you read Cote d' Texas was another surprise. My sister in law is Renea Abbott who's mentioned in Cote, and well lots of places, she's nationally got a large list of great clients and does outstanding work. Her personal homes as well have been featured in Architectual Digest and others. After seeing bit of your own remodel I think you two are on a similar page.

I have a proposal for you and hadn't intended to go on so long on this little comment box so I'll email you tomorrow and see if you might be interested. It's to do with the jewelry btw.

Best,

Connie

Is it possible that Saks carried some of your work at one point? My necklace has a beautiful S hook and I see you have a necklace for sale with that type of clasp, although most of yours are toggle clasps. I hope you'll help me solve the mystery of who designed the piece I own.

I must say it was such a treat to find your site today whilst perusing Cote de Texas. Until I had spent all afternoon making sure I hadn't missed anything and found your lovely connection with your mother and therefore the comment about my own mother to hopefully acguire the necklaces in honor of Mother's Day. My story is a bit backwards but in this case so happily so. My youth was filled with turmoil at the age I knew least what to do with it and a mother with five other children to concern herself with including twin boys! The thing she did give me was that she was a spiritual seeker and I took up that mantle in my late teens and passed it along to my daughter who earned a philosophy degree from St. Edward's University and uses it daily to create her life and that is her art. She has also given me a wonderful grandson that I never expected to have and was really too immature to consider the wonder of it though her birth was the most glorius moment of my life. So now, it's almost like she's the mother to me and constantly gives me good advice and is basically my best friend. No, really, that's not just a saying. She realized that I was an immature mother when she was growing up and thank god money wasn't an issue so we've had many a deep conversation about our roles and how they naturally go back and forth anyway. We've traveled the globe together and I thank god every day that i have her in my life and I think she'd say the same.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

I absolutely love your jewelry. I notice some jewelry is sold. Do you ever make the same pieces again. I would love to know. At what site can I find the most current, for sale items?

Thank you, Marlene Horner, North Bay, Ontario, Canada

My husband just surprised me with this necklace for my 38th birthday. It's completely stunning in person. The mixture of pearl and gray is beautiful. A real work of art. Great husband and a great gift!

Karen,

I found out about your jewelry through Cote de Texas. I am drooling!!! I too bought a necklace in Paris that I loved but found it to be too lite and easily tangled. I have begun a campaign to get my husband to buy me one of your pieces for our anniversary. Wish me luck!!!

Best of luck with the kitchen renovation. You are a brave woman!

your designs are very unique as well as of the moment. The rose quartz and gray pearls especially.

I think your jewelry is wonderful!!! I lived in Scottsdale and managed two upscale boutiques in the Troon area. I know your designs would be so well received at the Pinnacle Gallery on Pinnacle Peak Road at Pima in the A.J.'s shopping center. Joanne is the owner, and I have a friend who shows there, too. Her name is Kazzie.

Karen is the most amazing creative designer. I wanted to give jewelry to my bridesmaids and showed Karen a picture of their dress and the venue. With Karen's sharp eye, she designed an absolutely amazing one-of-a-kind necklace within my budget. She is extremely caring, efficient, professional, and easy to work with.
