I must say it was such a treat to find your site today whilst perusing Cote de Texas. Until I had spent all afternoon making sure I hadn't missed anything and found your lovely connection with your mother and therefore the comment about my own mother to hopefully acguire the necklaces in honor of Mother's Day. My story is a bit backwards but in this case so happily so. My youth was filled with turmoil at the age I knew least what to do with it and a mother with five other children to concern herself with including twin boys! The thing she did give me was that she was a spiritual seeker and I took up that mantle in my late teens and passed it along to my daughter who earned a philosophy degree from St. Edward's University and uses it daily to create her life and that is her art. She has also given me a wonderful grandson that I never expected to have and was really too immature to consider the wonder of it though her birth was the most glorius moment of my life. So now, it's almost like she's the mother to me and constantly gives me good advice and is basically my best friend. No, really, that's not just a saying. She realized that I was an immature mother when she was growing up and thank god money wasn't an issue so we've had many a deep conversation about our roles and how they naturally go back and forth anyway. We've traveled the globe together and I thank god every day that i have her in my life and I think she'd say the same.

I just wanted to tell you how much I absolutely adore the "shell of an idea" necklace and appreciate your willingness to scheme/assist my lovely hubs. I was so shocked and thrilled that he remembered it from when I showed him the photo last summer.
