Since even at 90+ years, she looks like she just stepped out of Vogue Magazine, I knew the clasp(s) had to be not only functionable, but fashionable. Jumbo faceted amethyst nuggets are combined with Czech beads and juxtaposed with a lovely gold vermeil amethyst and peridot pendant. The pendant section can be removed and worn as a simple choker-style necklace. Additionally, the center back section can be worn as a bracelet.
