Secret Garden Soiree Necklace
I am frequently asked, “What inspires you when creating a new jewelry design?” More often that not – my response is that the gemstones and/or pendants are the driving force as to how I design a certain necklace, bracelet or earrings. Such was the case with the Soiree Collection. I wanted to incorporate a wire twist technique into something that had a lighter feeling for the summer months. This charming rainbow fluorite and freshwater pearls necklace reminds me of a secret garden with trellises of climbing vines, picture perfect flowers and the perfumed night air that intensifies at dusk. Just like the flowers in our secret garden – there is a profusion of fluorite shapes and colors ranging from soft green smooth nuggets to sheer soft-aqua hex-faceted elongated lanterns to adorable little smooth berry colored lozenges. A uniquely striped teardrop pendant personifies why this stone is called Rainbow Fluorite. Don’t miss the little “bud” of rainbow fluorite perched on the 24K gold vermeil toggle – an exit should be as dramatic as an entrance! 19” long.
Reference #14860
