“Gabrielle” Necklace – Light and Dark Amethyst, Rubellite Garnet, Pink Topaz with Citrine Chain and Smooth Citrine Briolette Pendant This delicate necklace was inspired by a group of friends & acquaintances who are - shall we say – vertically challenged. These diminutive gals are confronted again when it comes to purchasing jewelry. The grandiose “Statement Necklace” of Fall 2008 is clearly out of the question for them (they look more like a yoke than a statement on a smaller frame). So, what are our more petite counterparts to do? Obviously, they need a design that has a bit of drama without all the bulk. The “Gabrielle Necklace” was designed with them in mind – delicate but dramatic. Tiny citrine rondelles are linked together to form the chain which is interspersed with the more dramatic colors of light violet (light amethyst), pinks (pink topaz and rubellite garnets) and purple (amethyst). The dramatic conclusion of this necklace is formed at the “frill” - comprised of light and dark amethyst, pink topaz and rubellite garnet and culminates with a generous and spectacular glossy, smooth citrine briolette. 19” long with a 2.25” drop. 24K gold vermeil toggle clasp.
